Meet our PR & Marketing Manager

Eleanor joined the business in September 2020 and has worked with the team on the continued growth of The Chefs Patisserie throughout the pandemic. We caught up with her on what she’s been up to since she started in the role and the challenges that have been overcome with COVID.

Q: What does your day to day work entail?

A: The thing that I love about The Chefs Patisserie is that no two days are the same. One day you could be working on social media strategies and the next pulling together an event for a client or looking at different packaging solutions. My main tasks each day involve client relationships, social media management, dealing with website enquiries, new business and working on individual projects as well as heading up the launch of our B2C side of the business.

Q: What do you enjoy most about working at The Chefs Patisserie Company?

A: I enjoy working with a hugely talented team who are great at what they do. As a start-up business it’s been important to get involved with a wide range of tasks and help where possible but that has meant I’ve now got a great deal of experience in operational and admin tasks as well as looking at how the business runs on a day-to-day basis in line with the execution of our Marketing Plan. We’re expanding rapidly working with new clients on a weekly basis and I really enjoy being a part of that. The future is certainly very exciting!

Q: How have you overcome the challenges COVID-19 has created?

A: COVID has created a number of challenges for the hospitality industry globally with most venues forced to close their doors for extended periods of time. We as a business have had to evolve and this is what has led to the launch of The Chefs Patisserie at Home arm to our business which we set up towards the end of 2020.

We have also used the time through COVID to reset and refresh and pull together some exquisite menus for our clients as well as working on launching our social media channels and finalising our Marketing and Communications Plan.

Q: What’s next for The Chefs Patisserie Company

A: We are growing at an incredible rate and moving into new sectors including retail. We’re working with multi-sector clients and are looking forward to beginning work with our stadia and events clients.

It’s a hugely exciting time for us and I’m really looking forward to building on the success we have had over the past few months.
